Help with more than Medicare.
Medicare is most of what I do. But families also ask me about life insurance, dental and other kinds of coverage. I can help with those too, in English or Spanish, and my help costs you nothing.

These are not Medicare plans.
Nothing on this page is a Medicare plan. You do not need any of these policies to have Medicare or to keep it. Some people add one. Many people never do. If you don't need one, I'll tell you.
Six kinds of coverage, in plain words.
Here is what each one is for. Every policy is different, so we look at the details together.
Life insurance
Life insurance pays money to the people you choose when you pass away. Families use it to pay for a funeral, pay off a debt, or help a husband or wife with the bills. Some policies last a set number of years. Others last your whole life.
Dental and vision
These policies help pay for things like cleanings, fillings, dentures, eye exams and glasses. Original Medicare does not cover most of that. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, it may already include some, so let's check first.
Hospital indemnity
If you are admitted to the hospital, this policy pays you a set amount, often for each day you are there. The money goes to you, not the hospital. You can use it for your share of the bill, or for rent and groceries at home.
Cancer
A cancer policy pays you money if you are told you have cancer, and some keep paying during treatment. Cancer can mean many trips to the doctor, time off work, and costs your health plan does not pay. This money helps with those.
Critical illness
This policy pays you one lump sum if you get a serious illness the policy names, often things like a heart attack or a stroke. You decide how to spend it: medical bills, trips to a specialist, or keeping the lights on.
Health insurance before Medicare
Not 65 yet, and no insurance through a job? You may be able to buy a plan on the Health Insurance Marketplace, sometimes called ACA or Obamacare. Depending on your income, you may get help with the cost. This can fit a younger spouse when the older one moves to Medicare.
Questions I'll help you ask.
I ask these with every client, for every policy. I look at what you already have first. If it already covers you, I'll tell you.
- What does it pay for, and what does it leave out?Every policy has a list. We read it together.
- Does it pay me, or the doctor? Some pay you directly. Some pay the doctor or hospital.
- Is there a waiting period? Some policies wait a while before they pay for certain things.
- Do I already have this?Your Medicare plan, your job, or another policy may already cover it.
- Can the price go up later?Ask now, not after you sign.
- How do I cancel if I change my mind?Know the way out before you sign up.
